Coming from a family of twelve and growing up on the south side of Chicago, like everyone else, I have experienced a variety of life’s ups and downs. From eighteen to thirty-one, I spent my time drinking, smoking, and chasing skirts.  At thirty-two, the Lord took over. I settled down, married and have five wonderful children. I’ve had about fifteen jobs in my life and retired in 2018. I am no one special; however, I had to do something with the wisdom, knowledge, and experience presented to me over the years. So, I decided to dedicate some of my free time to writing. Expounding on my Biblical knowledge, I have also created a YouTube page entitled “Truth Through Scripture With J Benedict.” Check it out. And, just so you know, all my books contain part of my real-life story. So, if I can enrich just one person’s life, my job is done.
